I began my career as a programmer at Accenture in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley. However, I’ve always been a writer and a creative at heart. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked as a creative copywriter, UX writer, content strategist, and VP of Marketing on product and marketing teams across various industries, from advertising and branding agencies to start-ups, in both B2C and B2B. What sets me apart is my ability to understand things quickly and balance the big picture—business goals, brand identity, and the entire user journey—with a keen focus on the finer details like microcopy, meta copy, and SEO.
I believe all writing, not just digital, should be clear, cohesive, and frictionless—acting as a seamless conversation between the brand and its audience. The copy’s voice must remain consistent, but the tone should flex with empathy for the user—understanding who they are, where they are, what they’re feeling, and what they need to accomplish. While delighting users is important, eliminating pain points should always come first. And most importantly, never underestimate the power of testing—test, refine, and test again.
